Legendaria Pro
The flagship race. A course that takes no prisoners, for riders who train with method and know how to ration their effort. The fastest rider in the first hour doesn't win here: the one who reaches the last one intact does.

La Vall d'Albaida gives nothing away. Red dirt tracks that crumble under your wheel, loose-stone ramps between century-old olive trees and a sun that falls straight down on la Costera. Nineteen municipalities of terrain that never forgives a bad decision.
The Legendaria Bike Race exists for exactly that: to take the measure of anyone who thinks they have already raced it all. Gravel and MTB: the same course, each with its own classification. No tarmac to hide on.
Same ground, same demand per kilometre on all three. What you choose is how many of those kilometres you want.

The flagship race. A course that takes no prisoners, for riders who train with method and know how to ration their effort. The fastest rider in the first hour doesn't win here: the one who reaches the last one intact does.

The point where hard racing and pure enjoyment still fit into the same day. Plenty of kilometres to read the land, and enough of them to make crossing the line mean something.

Direct, intense and relentless from the very first ramp. The distance riders come in on, and the one where plenty of them find out they had a lot more in the legs.

Start and finish in Aielo de Malferit. In between, nineteen municipalities of inland Valencia: olive groves, vineyards, ravines and tracks known only to those who live here.

No route is easy or hard depending on your bike. Gravel and MTB race the same course and compete in separate categories. Pick the bike you attack the ground best on.
Lightness and speed on hardpack. Narrower tyres, more punishment through the hands and an edge on the fast sections.
Control and safety on loose stone. It loses on the flats what it gains on the technical descents.
A federation licence is not compulsory. Riders without one pay for single-day insurance when completing their registration.
Official time from the start to the finish. This is not a sportive.

Official times and category classifications.
Aid stations spread out along the course.
Medical cover and a safety plan coordinated with the Local Police, Civil Protection and the emergency services.
The course is marked with removable materials, taken down completely within 48 hours of the race.

There are three: Pro (110 km), Adventure (88 km) and Challenge (72 km). All three share the same ground and the same demand. The only thing that changes is how long it lasts.
